Direct Thermal Shipping Label

Direct thermal shipping labels are a low-cost form of label offered by us. We make this label by the direct thermal printing technique in which a thermal print head is used to selectively heat certain portions of coated, thermo-chromatic (or thermal) paper. When the paper passes over the thermal print head, it turns black where it is heated, resulting in the desired picture. By applying heat at two different temperatures, two-color direct thermal printing may produce both red and black pictures. Direct thermal shipping labels make no use of ink, toner, or ribbon, instead relying on chemically treated, heat-sensitive materials.
